Eligibility Criteria:

- Age Limit: Upto 65 years.
- Assistant Professor Grade-III: Full-time 1st Class M.E. / M.Tech. in Chemical / Plastics / Polymer Technology / Plastics Engineering / M.S or Integrated M.Tech in relevant field or equivalent with 2 years relevant post-qualification experience candidates having higher qualification (Ph.D.) will be preferred.
- Assistant Professor Grade-II: Full-time 1st Class M.E. / M.Tech. in Chemical / Plastics / Polymer Technology / Plastics Engineering / M.S or Integrated M.Tech in relevant field or equivalent with 5 years relevant post-qualification experience candidates having higher qualification (Ph.D.) will be preferred.
- Assistant Professor Grade-I: Ph.D with Full-time 1st Class M.E. / M.Tech. in Chemical / Plastics / Polymer Technology / Plastics Engineering / M.S or Integrated M.Tech in relevant field or equivalent with 7 years relevant post-qualification experience.
Essential Skill Sets:
- Should have good oral and written communication skills.
- Competency in Hands-on experience in handling sophisticated equipments/ machineries.
- Aptitude towards Teaching in the field of Polymer / Plastics Engineering & Technology.
CIPET Recruitment 2021 Eligibility
Selection Process:
The Institute reserves the right to screen and call only such candidates who are found suitable for being recommended by the Screening Committee. Mere fulfilling of the norms will not automatically entitle a candidate to be called for Written Test with Skill/Practical Test and/or Interview as applicable. The Institute / Screening Committee at its own discretion may also fix new criteria/benchmark in respect of qualification, experience, etc., for screening candidates to be called for Written Test with Skill/Practical Test and/or Interview as applicable. Personal, Academic, Professional and all other details of candidates, the basis for shortlisting, benchmark/report by the Screening Committee, all reports of the Selection Committee, and each and every information in respect of the recruitment and selection process shall be maintained in strict confidentiality and will not be revealed to anyone whatsoever.

CIPET Job Salary 2021:
- Rs. 45,000/- per month (Consolidated) for Asst. Professor Gr. III.
- Rs.55,000/- per month (Consolidated) for Asst. Professor Gr. II.
- Rs.65,000/- per month (Consolidated) for Asst. Professor Gr. I.
