IBPS PO CWE Frequently Asked Questions – IBPS Guide

IBPS has released its recruitment notification for the IBPS PO (Probationary Officer) post. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the examination on the month of October. The examination process is based on the Preliminary Exam, Main exam, and the Interview. The selected candidate’s provisional allotment will be released on the month of April 2020.

Q: When will IBPS conduct the PO Examination?

A: Tentative Dates for Preliminary Exam: 12.10.2019 & 19.10.2019 and Main Exam: 30.11.2019.

Q: How many vacancies have been released?

A: Overall vacancies for PO is – 4336 (the vacancy may also increase).

Q: What is the essential qualification for the IBPS PO Exam?

A: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

Q: What is the age criterion to apply?

A: Minimum: 20 years and Maximum: 30 years.


Q: What is the age relaxation for SC/ ST candidates?

A: Age relaxation for SC/ ST candidates is 5 years.

Q: What is the Application fee?

A: Rs. 100/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates and all others has to pay Rs. 600/-.

A: Starting date of Registration: 07th August 2019.

Q: When is the closing date of online Application?

A: Online Applications ends on: 28th August 2019.

Q: When will admit card be released for the preliminary exam?

A: Tentatively in October 2019 the prelims admit cards will be released.

Q: When will admit card be released for the Main exam?

A: Tentatively in the month of November 2019 the mains admit cards will be released.

A: The provisional allotments will be made tentatively on April 2019.
