SBI PO Result 2020 will be declared on the official website of SBI. The result will be declared after the successful completion of the exam. The official notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officer 2020 has yet not declared. We will update you as soon as the official notification is released.

The Recruitment of SBI PO has completed in three phases:

  1. Prelims exam
  2. SBI PO Mains exam
  3. Interview and Group Discussion.

 SBI PO Result – Prelims:

The SBI PO result for Prelims will be declared after the conduct of the prelims exam on its official website. The candidate who qualifies for the prelims exam will be called for the Mains exam. It is declared within the month after the conduct of the exam. With the declaration of the SBI PO result, the scorecard for both qualified and non-qualified candidates is released.

SBI PO Main Exam Result:

The SBI PO Result for the mains exam will be declared after the successful completion of the written exam. The candidate qualified in the mains exam called for Interview and group- discussion.

SBI PO Final Merit: 

The final result will be declared after the interview and group discussion process completed. The final merit is prepared by adding marks of mains exam and interview and Group-discussion.

You can check your PO Result on its official website. Here are the steps to check the result:

  • Visit the official website of SBI-
  • Open the tab career on the home page of the website.
  • Click on the link for SBI PO result.
  • You will be redirected to the login page of the result.
  • Fill up your credentials Registration number, DOB, or Password.
  • Enter the captcha and click on the submit button.
  • Your result status will be displayed on your screen.
  • Save the result for your reference.

SBI PO Result cut-off:

The cut- off SBI PO exam is declared after the declaration of the result category-wise. It is declared only one cut-off all over India. You can check it on its official site. It declares separate cut-off for each phase: Prelims, Mains, and Final.

SBI PO Exam Pattern

Prelims Exam

SBI PO Prelims exam will be conducted online and will comprise of 3 sections namely Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude & English Language. The entire paper is to be completed in a time span of 1 hour. There will be 100 questions of 100 marks for this paper.

0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer by a candidate, however,no deduction will be there in marks if a question is left unattempted by a candidate.

Main Exam

Part A

SBI PO Mains Exam will be conducted online on 20th July 2019 and will comprise of 4 sections namely Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation & General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, English Language. The entire paper is to be completed in 3 hours. The total number of questions for this paper will be 155 and the total marks will be 200.

0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate in SBI PO Mains Exam. No deduction will be made in marks if a question is left unattempted or blank by a candidate in the exam.

Part B

A descriptive paper will be conducted also take place along with the online test. It needs to be completed in 30 minutes and the maximum marks for the paper will be 50. The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).

Group Discussion & Personal Interview Round

A candidate who clears both the Prelims & Mains Exam of SBI PO 2019 will be further called for a GD-PI session. The qualifying marks for this round will be decided by the Bank and the marks alloted to these rounds are:

  • Group Discussion – 20 marks
  • Interview – 30 marks

SBI PO Final Selection Process

After a candidate has gone through Personal Interviews, a merit list will be prepared by State Bank of India wherein the candidate’s score of Mains Exam and Group Discussion+Interview Round will be taken into account. Based on the score obtained by candidates and the available vacancies, a final cut-off marks will be declared. All candidates who clear the cut-off range will be appointed by State Bank of India as Probationary Officers.
