The individuals applying for SSC CPO 2020 should meet the eligibility criteria of the educational qualification and the age limit. If the candidates do not meet any one of the eligibility criteria the application will be quashed by SSC CPO authorities.

SSC CPO – Educational Qualification:

Aspirants applying for the SSC CPO Exam should possess the following educational qualification

  • Educational Qualification for all posts is Bachelor‟s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.

SSC CPO – Age Limit:

Staff Selection Commission has stipulated eligibility criteria in age limit, candidates compulsory satisfy those age limit to take part in the recruitment drive. For CPO recruitment drive SSC has fixed the age limit as 20 to 25 years for general or unreserved category candidates. SSC CPO – Selection Procedure:

All the aspirants who are applying for the SSC CPO Notification 2021 must know the vacancy details of SSC CPO Notification 2021’s selection process. SSC CPO Medical Standard Test:

Medical Examination All the candidates who qualify in Paper-II will be medically examined by the Medical Officer of the CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade I of any Central/ State Govt. Hospital or Dispensary. Candidates, who are found to be unfit, will be informed of the position and they can make an appeal before Review Medical Board within the prescribed time limit of 15 days. The decision of the Re-Medical Board/ Review Medical Board will be final and no appeal/ representation against the decision of the Re-Medical Board/ Review Medical Board will be entertained.

Eyesight: The minimum near vision should be N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye). The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye) of both eyes without any correction like wearing glasses or surgery of any kind to improve visual acuity. In a right-handed person, the right eye is the better eye and vice versa.

The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision.

They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

SSC CPO Benefits and Allowances

Children Education Allowance/Hostel subsidy

  • CEA @ Rs.2250/- per month (Total Rs.27000/- per annum) for children studying class Nursery to 12th class. Whenever DA increases by 50%, CEA shall increase by 25%. This is applicable to all posts.
  • Hostel subsidy @ Rs.6750/- per month (Total Rs.81000/- per annum) for children studying in hostel. Whenever DA increases by 50%, CEA shall increase by 25%.

SSC CPO Cutoff:

SSC scrutinizes the candidates for PST and PET-based on SSC CPO Paper I Exam. SSC CPO Minimum Qualifying Marks:

(iii) Alphabetical order of the names of the candidates
