Directions (1-5):Each of the questions below consists of a question and two statements numbered I and II given below it. You have to decide whether the data provided in the statements are sufficient to answer the question:        

a) If the data in Statement I alone is sufficient to answer the question, while the data in Statement II alone is not sufficient to answer the question.

b) If the data in Statement II alone is sufficient to answer the question, while the data in Statement I alone is not sufficient to answer the question.

1) Seven boxes P, H, L, V, W, S and X are kept one above the other but not necessarily in the same order. How many boxes are kept below H?

I) Box V is kept second from the top. Two boxes are kept between P and X. Box V and Box X are not kept adjacent. Box L is kept below Box X but not immediate below. Box S is kept immediately above Box W.

II) As many boxes kept above Box X is kept below Box X. Only one box is kept between Box X and Box W, which is kept below Box X. Three boxes are kept between Box H and Box L. Box V is kept immediately above Box H.

2) Is S is brother in law of K?

I) S is the only son of Q, who is mother in law of K. S is unmarried. D is daughter of P.

II) D and R are siblings. P is father of D, who sister in law of K.

3) Seven students namely – A, B, C, D, E, F and G gets different marks, then marks of how many students got less mark than C?

4) Seven persons namely A, B, C, K, L, M and N are sitting in a row facing north, then who sits second to right of C?

I) Two persons sit between B and N, who sits third from one of the end. Only one person sits between K and C. C and N are not immediate neighbours. A sits immediate right of K.

II) L sits second from one of the end. A sits third to the right of C, who is not an immediate neighbour of L.

5) Six persons namely – P, Q, T, S, H and Z are sitting in a circular table facing center, each person likes different color Red, Yellow, Blue, Pink, White and Purple. Not necessary in same order. Who sits immediate left of one who likes Blue?

I) The one who likes pink sits second to the left of T. Only one person sits between the one who likes blue and the one who likes pink. S sits immediate right of the one who likes blue. The one who likes red sits opposite to S. Two persons sit between P and Z. Neither P nor Z likes Pink.

II) Two persons sit between Q and the one who likes yellow. P sits immediate right of the one who likes yellow. Z does not like white.
